Why do you go by Kaerralind? What does it mean?
Truth is, I got it from a fantasy name generator years ago. It was for a god from an OC world. The badger god of Chaos and Knowledge. Because you can't have one without the other.I have found out that "Kaerralind" seems to mean "Oat Bird" in Estonian. But, once I logged into Weverse to watch a BTS stream and it autotranslated to english and Kaerralind became "Pancake". I don't actually like pancakes... but I love birds!

How long have you been writing?
I've been writing since I was a kid. So somewhere around... when was Fruits Basket popular? 2001? So, about 2002 (because that's when Naruto came out and I was a big Sasuke simp, haha), I started to dabble in writing fanfiction, and it was bad. It was very bad. Actually, that's a lie. My first dabble into fanfiction was when I was in primary school when I was writing bad script fanfiction for Snot Stew by Bill Wallace. I just wanted Toby, Kikki, and Butch to be best friends and go on adventures. Weirdly enough, I don't own a copy of that book.

You write fanfiction?
Absolutely, I do. I find it a fun pastime and a good way to practice my writing skills. Plus, I get to create unofficial fan content for myself and others to enjoy.
When it comes to fanfiction, though, it's best to separate the 'fiction' from the 'reality' and remember to never confuse the two.I have also found some of my best friends through fanfiction communities.

Since you write Fanfiction, what's your Magnum Opus?
I have two! Strings and Marry Me. Strings being my 200k oc BTS fanfic that was only ever supposed to be 1k-5k words but NaNoWriMo happened and then I couldn't stop. Marry Me was originally a 10k oneshot for my spouse but it got out of hand real fast and I have no regrets. The KaeLuc community is my home.
